A book on Russian old-settlers of Mongolia was published

A book was published: Sundueva, D.B. and Klyaus, V.L. eds., (2024). Russian old settlers in Mongolia in memoirs, essays, and photographs. Moscow: Institute of World Literature RAS, 136 p. ISBN 978-5-9208-0770-0.

The book is dedicated to the Russian old-settlers of Mongolia, who are part of the “Russian world” that existed and continues to exist outside of Russia. The first part contains memoirs of members of the Russian diaspora, along with photos and documents from their family archives. The second part includes articles by Russian and Mongolian journalists covering various years. These materials reveal the collective experiences of historical events as lived by the Russian community in Mongolia.
